I have been watching the breaking news just after my husband called and woke me up. Chicago firefighters were trapped in a collapsed building from an am fire. They were frantically searching for their brothers.
It has now been reported that two Chicago firefighters have perished from that fire and 6 others are still in critical condition.
I humbly prayer for the Chicago FD and the families of those in mourning and those waiting to here on the condition of their brothers.

CHICAGO (AP) — Chicago fire officials say 16 firefighters have been injured while battling a blaze at an abandoned commercial building on the city’s South Side.
A fire chief refused to confirm reports that two firefighters had died after a wall collapsed as they fought a fire at the one-story building. Four firefighters have been rescued from the rubble.
Fire officials say 10 of the firefighters are in serious condition and six are in critical condition.
Wednesday is the 100th anniversary of the Union Stock Yards fire that killed 21 Chicago firefighters.
